I've never run before - can I come?

Of course! You will find a supportive and encouraging community ready to help you unleash your inner beginner. 

What if I'm not fast enough? What if I'm too fast?

Pretty much no one will notice how fast you are unless you tell them. We all train hard, but that means different things for different people. It will be YOUR session.

Is it really for anyone?

YES! Anyone over the age of 12*, identifying in any way, is more than welcome at our sessions. We're about running, smiling and enjoying our time outdoors; nothing else.
Before you start, you'll need to complete a PARQ (physical activity readiness questionnaire) and you'll be contacted if there are any medical concerns.
*Anyone under 18 will need their legal guardian to get in touch before booking, please.

What will I need to bring?

You will need comfortable PE kit including trainers, a filled water bottle and something warm/dry for afterwards. If you're going to come to an 'on road' session, you'll need something bright (preferably reflective) to wear to keep you safe. We will be able to look after your keys/phone/inhaler...

How far do you run?

We don't run a certain distance in our sessions. Instead, they're adapted depending on who's training, ensuring everyone gets a session that's right for them.

Our out runs are the exception and the distance is advertised in advance.

What if I can't do it?

What if you can?! I will always adapt training to suit the athletes (that's you!).

Is everyone super-fit and in Lycra?

Not at all! Some are super-fit and some wear Lycra, but we're ordinary folk who want to be fitter and stronger, having a bit of a giggle along the way.

I usually work out with weights; will the session be too easy for me?

That depends on how hard you choose to work...

Can I just turn up?

So that we can manage attendance numbers, we ask runners to pre-book. If you've never trained with us before, please leave us enough time to have a look through your PARQ and contact you before hand.
